This is a nice stretch of Milwaukee with shops and restaurants. We stopped into Main Street Social (wouldn't it be fun if the street name was Main Street?) for brunch. We sat in the dining room at a booth, modern and elegant ambience. The menu looked great -- definitely skewed more toward breakfast. I ordered the breakfast pizza, the description was intriguing -- it mentioned garlic fondue -- it was a tasty flatbread with a layer of garlicky cheese (the fondue), Fresno chili, pancetta, egg. It was quite tasty, cheesy enough, with a slight kick from the pepper. My companion had the chicken and waffles -- chicken breast fully cooked but too brown -- and the waffle tough. Make the waffle crisp, the breast thinner so it doesn't get overly browned -- and it'll be a winner. The fig jam was a nice touch. Server was friendly, I liked what I saw on the menu, I would definitely come back. There are some great shops around here so on a warm day this would be a fun excursion.

Came here on a weekend, it was packed!! But service was very quick, we got seated and got our food in a reasonable amount of time. I had the lobster Benedict at first I was suspicious because it doesn't look that appealing on pictures but it was absolutely delicious! Cleared the whole plate. Sipped on a mimosa, we were seated by the window and the vibes were great

Wonderful ambiance and atmosphere from the moment you walk in the door. Great staff, service and food was top notch! I loved that all the food came out piping hot and fresh. Flavors were on point.. Seafood Brodetto was soooo good. Worst thing about this place is parking so plan ahead. Otherwise, definitely dine here! Can't wait to go back.

We organised a birthday party for our boss here and it was an absolute success. The owner, Duke, was extremely accommodating, attentive to details and a pleasure to work with. The food and drinks were amazing and everyone had a great time. It was so great that no one wanted to leave...we literally closed the place down (I apologise for that). There's a lot more food I want to try here so will definitely be back. Strongly recommend this place, especially if you're looking to hold a party.

The cocktails were delicious. The crab cake, gnocchi, and cheesecake were a few items I tasted and each one was exquisite. Yum! Duke, the owner, is personable and down to earth. This business deserves a try if you want fresh food from homemade pasta to homemade graham crackers. The scene is out of a modern city feel with friendly small town faces.

One of my husband's and my all time favorite place to eat. We come here for every anniversary, special occasion, and when we want consistently good food we love. + I always say Main Street has the best dessert menu in town. So good. Wait staff is also noteworthy. Many of the same people have worked there for years and it's great to see familiar faces! I came to Main Street on their opening night and I'll continue to come time & time again. Favorite place to dine out in Libertyville hands down.

Went here for drinks after dinner. Duke the owner was very welcoming. I wish I could remember the bartender, but she was fabulous. The restaurant is wonderful and the he feeling of welcome is great. Just go and introduce yourself to Duke. I think he will welcome your story and why you came.

Overall, this place was cute, with good food and great cocktails. I started with the Magnificent Mile cocktail with gin and butterfly pea tea which makes this beautiful purple color. It was delicious. A bit overpriced at $17, but what can you do. I then moved on to the French onion soup. The beef broth was delicious. Next, the scallops with mushroom risotto. This was a miss for me. The scallops were WAY over cooked. I always hear of restaurants subbing shark meat for scallops and this is the first place where I believe the rumors. Now, I'm in no way saying that's what they did, but the scallops had a weird texture and were rubber. Finished with an espresso martini which was the perfect end to the meal. Shared a good laugh with the bartender over some other patrons. I would come back and order something different.
